Welcome to [-CGZ-] This page is an introduction to the site and more. Well, the first thing is the Clan/Alliance/Guild Site.
What is on the site:Membership-When you are a CGZ clan/alliance/guild member, you must be registered. If you are not a CGZ member your account will be reviewed. You are NOT required to pay a membership, but encouraged to donate via paypal. Chat Box- Feel free to post here for chat related things. Clan Guidelines- Yes, the nasty word 'RULES'. Based on my experience with clans you need some sort of basic rules. Like it says, these are 'Guidelines'. We are trying not going to be a 'too political' clan like some other clans we know. Most of them are common sense. If you are in violation of one or more, you will receive an email from a Board member or depending how serious the violation is- KICKED. Clan Roster- This is how our Roster will be advertised or listed. Site Membership- This is also a Roster based on how the site diplays it. The reason the emails are hidden are for your protection from email spamming. Your email in your profile can be controlled by you whether it is seen or not. The clan email is block by me. Only Registered Clan members could see your email if you allowed it in your profile. If you change your clan email, you need to update it in your profile and email a Board Member. Downloads- Pretty much ALL your downloads will be handled by our sponsor [link]. No sense in maintaining two databases. Forum- Almost every site has these. Yes I know of PHB forums, but this one is integrated with the site. Please use the forums. I see most of our communication NOT to be in email, but rather in YIM, TS, Chat and PMs. The forums are also a place where new recruit Applications are automatically placed when submitted. Links- These can be used for anyone. I really do not care who submits a link here as long as it is not porn links. Whatever is submitted here, hopefully will be submitted at [link] Link Server List- Shows all servers I have activated for monitoring. There is also to the right of the website a server list with a map pic. Good source to see if immediately whats up with the server. In case the server does go down, it is set up to automatically restart. ALL servers are on UPS as well. The ONLY events that really will bring them down for a long period of time is a Natural Disaster, No power for 20 minutes or the clan never paid the bill. LOL. Link to Us- This is just so people visiting our site can link to us if they want. Button Links- This is for buttons only. This is a very hard section for people to get there button on. These are sites I have personal contacts with and they set the stage for bigger sponsorships and button exchanges. Donate Please- This was created obviously for donations. Hey $5 helps. Online Section- This tool is used to see who is online or you think you are logged in and don't see your name. Poll- This is for you to vote on stuff and such. We can only have one vote at a time. Private Message- Feel free to send PMs to people at the site if you want too. Top 10 users- This is used to see what members are active on the site. These stats may be part of the formula to be used in promotions. Latest Forum Posts- I do not know about you, but I hate searching in forums what is the latest and greatest. Especially when forums get huge. Additional Services- Go visit [link] and view the download sections. If you see something that may help the clan, please email the link and I will see about posting it. Because this is really your site, not mine. Have fun. Ok, now some reminders:Do not ask when you will be promoted. The Board is always watching and will advise when a promotion is necessary. Promotion is based on Team Workmanship, Game Skills and Contributions to the clan/site/guild. To see what positions we do have in ranks, visit the Roster section. Details listed there. Also please do not forget to Download Ventrilo. VENT is REQUIRED to be in the clan/alliance/guild. Other than that, this is OUR clan/alliance/guild- not his or hers. Always be open and upfront.
